NCAAF 2014: SBPI [SportsBoss Power Index] through Regular Season



Here are the Top 25 rankings through action on Saturday December 6.  The columns OFF/DEF/TOTAL represent where each team checks in statistically in each; we also include the AP Poll, USA Today Poll, ESPN’s FPI & Sagarin’s rankings which can all be used as a solid comparison tool followed by each team’s SOS adjusted RATING, RANK & SU record:

Remember the #1 or #2 SBPI rated team has won National Championship 4 of 5 years I have done this analysis.  If you believe that will once again hold true I would look for the winner of Alabama vs. Ohio State to beat the winner of Florida State vs. Oregon in the CFB Playoff Championship Game.  Alabama currently has the best grade of any team over the last 6 seasons (including this year obviously) and would no question remain #1 with a win over Ohio State; conversely if Ohio State was to beat Alabama it would likely jump into the #2 spot.
