Here are the Top 25 rankings through action on Saturday December
6. The columns OFF/DEF/TOTAL represent
where each team checks in statistically in each; we also include the AP Poll,
USA Today Poll, ESPN’s FPI & Sagarin’s rankings which can all be used as a
solid comparison tool followed by each team’s SOS adjusted RATING, RANK &
SU record:

Remember the #1 or #2 SBPI rated team has won National
Championship 4 of 5 years I have done this analysis. If you believe that will once again hold true
I would look for the winner of Alabama vs. Ohio State to beat the winner of
Florida State vs. Oregon in the CFB Playoff Championship Game. Alabama currently has the best grade of any
team over the last 6 seasons (including this year obviously) and would no
question remain #1 with a win over Ohio State; conversely if Ohio State was to
beat Alabama it would likely jump into the #2 spot.
Here are an additional few teams of note that did not make
the SBPI Top 25:
#26 Nebraska
#29 Georgia Tech
#30 Arizona State
#50 Florida State
#56 Arizona
#57 Utah
New breakdown we will add each week is showing where each
Top 25 team ranked in the week’s prior SBPI:
